Item Description:

This is a pointer/tank banger.  I've tried a number of different communication ideas whilst diving and found these to be one of the best.  The three most common are              1)   'Clacker', which is a metal sealed pipe containing a steel ball.

2)  Inbuilt air horn on your BCD.

3)  Tank banger. (As in this listing).

Though the clacker and air horn work well, in my opinion, they are not as effective as the tank banger approach.  The clacker has just one application and tends to cost more due to its construction.  The air horn uses your BCD bladder, so is not ideal when trying to conserve air.

The tank banger not only produces a good noise to alert your buddy, but can also be used to point at or prod items without causing injury to yourself.
