Once paired, does the phone receiving the distress signal need to be in range of the wifi? Or could the alarm signal be sent, say, nationwide?
After the pairing is successful, the smartphone does not need to be in the wifi environment where it was paired all the time. The smartphone only needs to be connected to the network. Therefore, the working distance of the call button is not limited.
