STAR WARS: THE STORY OF STAR WARS REEL-TO-REEL BOX SET

[Following information found on the internet]: “To promote Star Wars in 1977, some radio stations were given a box set package from Twentieth Century, including a reel-to-reel tape. Featuring the music of John Williams and the story of Star Wars with the original actor’s voices, these two tapes are really a blast from the past. Includes a 16-page photo booklet and a fold-out information opening sheet relegating a dissertation by John Williams on his approach to the music of the film and how he came about it, a story synopsis, a scene-by-scene breakdown of the tracks on the reels synopsis, characters, actors, and music per track.”

“The Story Of Star Wars” on 4-Track 7 1/2 IPS reel-to-reel tapes was recorded on March 5 - 16, 1977 in Burbank, CA. I believe that only 500 of these box sets were made. Comes with photo booklet & an opening night program.

Condition is Near Mint. Does not look as if these tapes were ever used. Some wrinkling on cover of box near lower left edge. Please see photos.

Unfortunately, due to problems with dishonest eBay buyers, I now insist that high value items like this will only be shipped with additional expenses for insurance & Registered Mail.
