＊Hyakunin Isshu : Hyakunin Isshu is a "Shukasen" made by collecting the waka poems of 100 representative poets from the Asuka period to the early Kamakura period, one by one. Shukasen means "a collection of excellent songs". Currently, there are various types of Hyakunin Isshu, but generally "Hyakunin Isshu" refers to the "Ogura Hyakunin Isshu" chosen by the poet Fujiwara no Teike from the end of the Heian period to the beginning of the Kamakura period.
