How Do I Select the Right Size?

The best way to get the right size is to use the size chart for the specific wetsuit you are looking considering. Be sure to measure your chest and waist in addition to using your height and weight. Keep in mind that every brand has a different size chart and wetsuit sizes do not always match up to your “normal” size. For example, someone that is a large in one brand might not be a large in another. Likewise, someone who normally wears a size large in shirts is not a large in a wetsuit. Why Are Measurements So Important?

When selecting your size, it is important to consider all measurements and not just height and weight. Of particular importance is your chest measurement. In order for a wetsuit to keep you warm in the water, it needs to offer a snug fit. A loose wetsuit will allow rapid water exchange and you will not stay as warm.

How Do I Measure If I Don’t Have a Cloth Measuring tape?

No Problem. You can use a belt or a piece of string to get your measurements. Simply wrap the string around your chest and then place the string next to a ruler or tape measure and see what your measurement is.

What Do I Do if I Fall Between Two Sizes?

We recommend that chest, weight, height be the key indicators of your size. Unless the suit is exceptionally stretchy, go for the larger size if you are between two sizes.

Introduction to Selecting a Wetsuit:

A wetsuit acts as an essential barrier between you and the open water. There are many important factors to consider when choosing a wetsuit including the main use of the wetsuit (ex swimming, surfing, scuba, etc), water temperature, and budget. Contact Us for help in selecting the right wetsuit for your needs.

How Wetsuits Work:

Wetsuits trap a thin layer of water between your body and the wetsuit. While you still get wet, your body heats up the thin layer of water to nearly body temperature. Research the water temperature in the region where you will be using your wetsuit the majority of the time. If temperatures are cold, consider wearing neoprene boots, gloves and hoods along with your wetsuit.

Surfing Wetsuits:

Surfing involves a lot of arm paddling. Consider a wetsuit that has stretchy or thinner material in the upper body (shoulders and arms) or in the entire body, such as a 3/2mm or 4/3mm. This will reduce the upper-body fatigue that results from repetitive motion.

Diving Wetsuits:

The most important factors are: 1) Water temperature – The thicker the wetsuit the warmer you will be. Also, if the water is particularly cold, consider a sealed seam wetsuit as well as boots, gloves and hood. 2) Water depth – Wetsuits made specifically for diving are often more resistant to compression. As you descend, your wetsuit compresses quickly. The deeper you go, the thicker a suit you’ll need to get the same warmth you would at the surface.

Multi-Sport Wetsuits:

Consider whether the activity you will be spending most of your time doing will be mostly at the surface or diving? Look for a well-rounded suit that will best fit your activities and budget.

Triathlon & Swimming Wetsuits:

If you are a competitive triathlete or swimmer, you will want a suit made specifically for triathlons. These suits often have different buoyancy panels to increase floatation. They are usually glued together only, not sewn. Lastly, they do not have a fabric lamination which makes you faster in the water and the suit more stretchy and comfortable for constant movement. However, due to the lack of lamination and glued seams, they are also very fragile and prone to tears from finger and toenails. Many triathletes and recreational swimmers opt for a more traditional surfing wetsuit for practice or day-to-day use as they can handle much more wear and tear. 3. Then fold the product up nicely, put it in a package large enough that it will not get crushed or overly wrinkled, and ship it back to us. That’s it! How do I calculate shipping cost?

When will my order ship?

Most orders will ship the same day if placed before 11am EST. All other orders will ship the next business day. Orders placed after 11am EST on Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday will ship the following Monday.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Only Florida residents will be charged sales tax

How will I track my order?

Tracking numbers will be emailed the day your order ships. You may also find your tracking number by finding your orders in your Ebay Buying History.

How long will my order take to arrive?

All orders ship SAME or NEXT business day! Our free shipping option takes 2-10 business days depending on which warehouse our item ships from and where it is going. If you need your order by a specific date, please select a paid shipping option with the appropriate shipping time. We reserve the right to change shipping methods to a comparable method if needed. If you have special instructions, for example you cannot receive UPS or FedEx, please Contact Us to let us know.

Does my order qualify for FREE shipping?

Free shipping is available within the continental U.S only. Many of our listings offer free shipping and the item will clearly indicate if this is an option. Free shipping is available to your business or residential address or P.O Box and can take 2-10 days to arrive. For orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or APO/FPO please select USPS Priority Mail as the shipping option.

Can I RUSH SHIP my order?

Yes! We offer multiple shipping options to get your order there faster. Please review the options available on your specific listing. If you need a different method or have a question, Contact Us.

A note on expedited shipping:

When selecting an expedited shipping method please note that the delivery date is calculated from the day of shipping, not from order date. For example: an order placed at 2pm EST on Wednesday with UPS 2nd Day Air will be shipped on Thursday and delivered on Monday. If you needed this item on Friday, you would need to select UPS Next Day Air. Also, keep in mind that UPS and FedEx are guaranteed delivery times while USPS Priority Mail is not guaranteed.

Do you deliver on Saturday?

USPS and FedEx will deliver on Saturdays. UPS will not. Please Contact Us to make arrangement for Saturday delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

Can you ship to other countries?

Yes! We ship internationally whenever possible. We recommend using USPS Priority Mail International Or USPS Express Mail International for International orders. USPS INTL. First Class takes much longer, is harder to track and in our experience, prone to shipping errors.

What are the fees for shipping internationally?

The cost of shipping is based on the weight of the item(s) and the destination. You can calculate the shipping cost to your international address on the listing, under the picture, select the Payment & Shipping tab or adding an item to the cart and use the shipping calculator.

Will I be charged a customs fee?
