To complete the transfer to your vehicle we will require the following
Original V5C Registration Document
Mot Certificate is no longer required to be sent for the transfer but it is applicable to have an MOT if the vehicle is 3 years old or more. ( MOT and Tax details are automatically updated online by DVLA Swansea)
Expiry date of current road tax
Cheque payable to DVLA Swansea for Transfer Fee which is £80.00 (if you do not have a cheque book you may send postal orders)
If you want the number plate supplying on a Retention Certificate then the fee for this is also £80.00 which DVLA make you pre-pay and this is made payable on a cheque to DVLA Swansea (if you do not have a cheque book you may send postal orders)
We will arrange the transfer of the registration number to your vehicle through the DVLA Swansea online service, however sometimes a postal application may be required and this service can take up to 10 days.
