Description:

I needed a cage for my Baofeng UV-5R to stop myself from turning the volume knob and pressing buttons unwittingly. I designed this cage while referencing several other versions. My iteration has improved button hole placement.. a more robust shell, and can accommodate using the original clip and screws. I've also applied a texture in my printing process for a better grip and feel.

You are still able to remove and insert the battery with the exoskeleton on.

No radio is included. This is for the exoskeleton only.

Installation:

1. Remove two screws holding oem clip

2. Slip exoskeleton over radio

3. Reinstall oem clip and screws.
