This CGC graded 7.0 magazine is noted as having “Off White-to-White” pages and is a subscription edition. The CGC population report at the time of this listing indicates there is only 1 subscription edition graded 7.0 and only 3 higher. Also, there are only 6 newsstand copies graded higher. It has excellent eye appeal, especially the front cover. It is a nice example at a fair price for one of the coolest SI covers ever. It was a great year for Yaz, as only one month after this was published he won the highly coveted “Triple Crown” for leading the AL in Home Runs, Average, and RBI’s. This feat was not accomplished again, for the NL or AL, for 45 years when Miquel Cabrera finally accomplished this feat again in 2012.
