DB9F Cat cable for Acom 'S' series amplifiers and Yaesu/Kenwood transceivers

DE-15 (3 row) male to DB-9 high quality screened (shielded) cable. Length approx 1.5m/4ft 10ins.
With this cable your Acom 'S' series amplifier is able to determine the exact frequency your transceiver is tuned to. It then automatically switches to the correct band.
One end of the cable has a DB-9 female which connects to the transceiver's CAT/COM socket, the other end has a DE-15 (3 row) male which connects to the CAT/AUX connector on the amplifier.
For use with Acom 'S' series amplifiers, for example:
- Acom 600S
- Acom 700S
- Acom 1200S
- Acom 2020S
and the following transceivers:
- Yaesu FT-450, FT-991, FT-991A, FT-950, FT-1000MP, FT-1000MP Mk V, FT-1000MP Mk V Field
- Yaesu FTdx10, FTdx101, , FT-dx1200, FT-2000, FT-2000D, FT-dx3000, FT-dx5000, FT-dx9000
- Kenwood TS-480, TS-590, TS-890, TS-990, TS-2000
Not for FT-847 (contact us or search our store for a suitable cable).
FT-dx3000: CAT can only be used on USB OR DB9, not both. See Menu item 037 'CAT SELECT'.
FT-991 and FT-991A: DB9 connector needs switching to Cat - Menu item 028 ‘GPS/232C SELECT’

Important: This cable is intended for customers who already have a PTT switching cable and as such only provides frequency information to the amplifier.
If you do not have a PTT cable already, we also produce combined PTT/CAT cables for most radios.
