Up for sale is a vintage Montgomery Ward Adams 940 8mm film projector manufactured by DeJur-Amsco. This is a complete unit with lens, reel, power cord, and original carrying case.
The projector powers on, the light works, and there is movement inside, but due to the odor during operation it is being sold for parts or repair.
The internal film path and transport mechanism appear intact, making this a good candidate for restoration or as a parts donor. The included DeJur Vari-Zoom lens alone is desirable for parts and repair projects.
Cosmetically, there is noticeable wear including scratches, dust, and oxidation on feet and hardware. The case also shows wear but remains usable.
Hope someone out there can put it to use!
