Beautiful red and clear calcite from the Tonglushan mine in Daye, Hubei, China. Lovely "pagoda" shape. There are actually scalenohedral calcite crystals inside the pagoda-shaped crystals. Great luster (shine) and nice translucency to the crystals. Some slight chipping present but this is one of the nicer quality pieces from this find. Please note dimensions below.
