a very rare licensed vintage Giacometti portrait print.  Framed, with glass.

The print was trimmed slightly and the license information is pasted to the back of the frame as shown.  Nonetheless, it's an extremely rare vintage work printed by Curwen Press for The Tate Gallery.

Photos have some reflection from glass.  Otherwise please see images for some slight creasing and watermarks/foxing etc on this vintage work.  There is a decent amount of water stain on the lithograph as shown in the images mostly at the bottom and right side.  it's light enough that it's very much a presentable vintage work but still visible enough to create character and time for the piece.  a copy of this print in great shape and untrimmed would be over $2500.

As with any pieces with glass, about 5% of glass shipments wind up breaking due to unavoidable mishandling in shipping.  We don't guarantee the glass as it's uninsurable.  If the glass breaks in shipping please contact us but it will almost always be more worthwhile to buy a new sheet locally than to ship the item back and forth.
