Georgia folk art face jug, 1950s-1960s.

6.5” H 9”wide

This piece was picked up on a trip by my grandparents in the late 50s early 60s. Purchased by a vendor on the side of the road in Georgia. My grandmother remembers chatting with the gentleman who said he and his family had been creating these for years, all glazed but this was the only unglazed one.

There appears to be some pieces that were glued back on at some point, please see pictures.
