Pick a Linux Operating System (OS), then pick your 2nd choice from the following OSes:

(*Note: Windows 8.1 or 7, Linux, Android, or ChromeOS may be installed as multi-boot, a virtual machine, an emulator, or installed to run from an external USB/SDcard, depending on hardware compatibility. ChromeOS may include the Google Play Store.)

1) Choose your version of Linux. 

Ubuntu / Ubuntu Studio / Lubuntu / Kubuntu / Zorin / Fedora / Garuda / MX Linux / Arch Linux / Manjaro / Pop! OS / Linux Mint / Elementary OS, Pear OS, or iBuntu (for a MacOS, iOS look) / Winbuntu / Linux Lite / Endeavor OS / Nobara / Macbuntu / Q4OS / Peux Linux

• LibreOffice installed. Always stay compatible with Microsoft Office.
• Safer, more secure, open source software! 
• Most of the Internet is run by Linux, which is why the Internet is so reliable! 
• Use 1 of the above Linux distros when doing anything where you need added security.  
• Easily update, and with some distros you can update all programs at the same time in 1 window! 
• No wondering what part of your computer is missing updates, no searching all over the Internet for drivers!

2) Android operating system

3) ChromeOS* (see note above)

• ChromeOS can only be dual-booted with Windows, although that is subject to change anytime

• As soon as you boot into Chrome for the 1st time, login with your Gmail account.  
• Chrome is super fast and a great way to do work without fear of viruses and malware.
• Do your work in the Cloud using Google's free Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Slides. Go to the Chrome Store and pick from thousands of apps to suit your needs.
• ChromeOS (Chromebooks) has every extension you can think of! Use Google's full suite of Office-like products for full cloud compatibility with Microsoft Office documents!
• Download  Android apps from the Google Play Store* (it will be installed if possible, some PCs are not compatible)!

4) Windows 11,10, 8.1*, or 7*

• If you choose Windows 11 or 10, we can make it a lean, fast, debloated version free of Windows Store Apps installed by default, Copilot, Cortana, AI, & other needless additions that make Windows slow. Just let us know.
• LibreOffice and Office installed. Always stay compatible with Microsoft Office.
• Windows 10 is super stable and our favorite version of Windows, bridging the gap between Windows 7 and 8.1. On all Windows, we install the familiar Win7 Start Menu and the PC boots to the traditional desktop.

If you choose Ubuntu Linux as your 2nd OS, Libre will be installed in Ubuntu also. That way, you can work on Office documents in either OS!

Compatibility with legacy file formats - this is a major feature for anyone who may have to work with files created decades ago in obsolete word processors or spreadsheets, and LibreOffice far outclasses Microsoft, Google and Apple in this arena. It opens almost any legacy document, including WordPerfect. If you work in a school, office, or lab with legacy documents, LibreOffice is an essential tool even if you don't use it for everyday work.

• Note: All operating systems will be shipped in working order.  We are not responsible for updates or OS discontinuation causing a non-functioning system. Updates can significantly change functioning and cooperation with other operating systems. Use unsupported OSes/OSes not receiving security updates at your own risk.
• Hard drives with half Ubuntu/half other systems may appear to be smaller than they are. Windows does not recognize the format of the other half when some operating systems are installed side by side.

We wipe our computers and keep only the best software, then install a security package to keep you safe from viruses, malware, and ransomware.
