Condition: Overall Very good+; Decent margins with a couple margin tear repairs + very minor staining.

Description: The map depicts the northeast portion of South America, with the Amazon and its delta, and an impressive lake, 'Parime Lacus'. On the backside of the map the text is in French. The map is nearly identical to the Hondius map of the same name, but this Blaeu engraving is richer and the paper of a significantly heavier + superior quality.  Amazing color.
