1790 Great Britain half penny token, Cheshire-Macclesfield, approx. 27 mm. The obverse shows the bust of Charles Roe, with the legend, "ESTABLISHED THE COPPER WORKS 1758". The reverse shows a woman seated to the left, with a tool and a cogwheel. Below the figure is the date, 1790, and around the border above is "HALF PENNY". Nice grade on obverse and reverse and nice medium to dark brown color. Lettered on the edge with "PAYABLE AT MACCLESFIELD, LIVERPOOL OR CONGLETON X".
