Colours are a little unusual & hard to define - the stripe of darker greyish taupe is on each end & in the centre, then a thin yellow-gold stripe (matching the fringe), then two wide bronzy taupe stripes either side of centre. All have the same stripes in the same order from edge. The darker colour is appearing grey in the pictures - but it is definitely a TAUPE (i.e a bronze tone).

Please note this fabric is a natural silk which does have some slight slubs or minor flaws throughout. You will see a small slub on the second last photo (where I am pointing) and on the next photo you can see a slight line across the fabric. I have tried to use the pieces with flaws as the backs of the cushions. It was too beautiful a fabric to waste!

After a lifetime of decorating projects, I am now disposing of my stock of gorgeous fabrics by making up cushions. All cushion covers are pattern matched, double stitched for strength, and finished with a concealed zipper at the base. All are made with expensive high-quality furnishing fabrics & trims, most were imported to Australia from the USA. Many were originally from European fabric houses and were usually well over $100 metre. I cannot obtain any more of these fabrics – so get in first to buy a unique decorator piece that you will not find in the shops, at a fraction of the cost you'd expect to pay retail.

Cushion inserts

For ease of posting, I do not supply cushion inserts with the covers. You can purchase appropriate foam inserts on eBay, or at a craft or homewares store. For a more sumptuous look, I recommend spending a little more on feather inserts. For a plump look, always choose a slightly LARGER insert than the size of the cushion cover.

Care Instructions

As these made from are expensive upholstery fabrics and/or silks, they should not be washed. Dry clean only.

I am happy to combine postage at the Australia Post rates. Within Australia, if too bulky for letter post, items will be sent in prepaid postbags, which are tracked.
