This is an Authentic OEM replacement part for a Kawasaki engine. The fuel filter is used to filter out debris and contaminants before they reach the engine. Filters over time may get clogged restricting the fuel flow, if this happens the filter would need to be replaced. This part is made of plastic with a pleated paper filter inside and is sold separately.
