Cardinal Mariano Rampolla letter, dated 1894. Ornately written by a secretary, but authentically signed by Rampolla. Untranslated, looks to be written to the Duke of Norfolk. Rampolla was essentially cheated of being named Pope after having enough votes, based on recent revelations. 8" x 10", Very Good condition.
