Nolan Arenado is the ONLY Player in the history of the NL to win 10 consecutive Gold Glove Awards since the start of his Rookie year!  Arenado joins Ichiro Suzuki as only the 2nd player in MLB history to do so.  If Arenado wins another Gold Glove at third base in 2023, he will stand alone in the history of Major League Baseball with 11 consecutive Gold Glove Awards since Rookie year.

St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado was named a 2022 Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner for defensive excellence for the 10th straight season on Tuesday.  Arenado joined Ichiro Suzuki as the only players in MLB history to win a Gold Glove in the first 10 seasons of their major league careers. Arenado is also the first third baseman in NL history to win a Gold Glove Award during his rookie season (2013 Colorado Rockies).

Arenado led all MLB third basemen with 42 double plays turned in 2022, a Cardinals franchise record. He was 2nd among third basemen with 283 assists.
