Lot of three NOS Morse 27/64" M-7 HSS long drill bits, made in the USA. Shank markings read: MORSE USA / 27/64 M-7 / 10-9-81. These have been in storage since 1981 — unused, cutting edges untouched.

M-7 is a premium molybdenum-series HSS — harder and more wear-resistant than standard M-2. Correct for production drilling in steel, cast iron, and similar materials.

The tang flats were added after manufacture. The work is clean and precise. Tang flat width measures 0.241". Buyers should verify fit to their spindle or holder before purchase. Photo of the tang flats is included.
