With BGS you never have to guess as to why the card was graded the way it was because of the subgrades. I’ve noticed after handling thousands of PSA cards that most of the time the card moves inside the case when they are shipped etc and that has caused the card to be damaged which no longer makes the grade it was given valid. In BGS cases the cards don’t move and on rare occasions when they do move they don’t get damaged b/c of the inner sleeve. BGS doesn’t up charge. You can see 100% of the edges with BGS cases unlike PSA. BGS has 2 more levels above PSA that always bring in more money with the 10 pristine then the black label. BGS grades a lot more odd ball cards in non sports and sketch where as PSA wont grade those cards. After sending off tens of thousands of cards to both BGS & PSA I feel BGS is more consistent and honest, b/c Ive seen without exaggerating thousands of PSA 10 cards in hand that were not true gems due to the major visible flaws or PSA 6,7 & 8s that were really true gems. BGS holds most of the records for the highest sales for a particular card in non sports in any grade.
