1950 Shelbyville High School (Shelbyville, Kentucky), 8 1/8 x 11 1/4 inches tall burgundy faux leather hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), embossed design and lettering to front cover, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, 58, [26] pp. Slight to moderate soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers, with some fraying at spine tips. Prior owner name in red ink to front pastedown. Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce yearbook.

The county seat for Shelby County, Kentucky, Shelbyvile was established in 1792 and for many years was known as an agricultural city - principally producing corn, hemp, tobacco, wheat, pork, and beef.
