Straight leg casual trousers are a universal basic. Make them long or ankle length as you like. Side seam pockets or patch pockets with integral belt loops and a tie band or cord belt are decorative details, The trousers fasten at the side with an invisible zip.

As this is a US/EU size pattern please see the information for sizing which are shown on the back of the envelope photo. It is always best to go on body measurements instead of size for Burda patterns.

The pattern is uncut, comes with full instructions and includes all seam and hem allowances.
