This is a reserved number, which is an early predecessor to what would become personalized or vanity plates. They would look great on an antique automobile car like a Ford Model T, Chevy, Dodge, or Duesenberg.

The pair is NOT DMV clear because it is a low registration number. The plates would still look great on an antique car at a car show though.
