If you can't bind your range extender to your DJI phantom 2 vision plus drone's hidden Wi-Fi signal, you're not alone. You need an older Android or iPhone so the OS is old enough to be compatible with the binding feature on the DJI Vision app.
Symptom
The main symptom that shows binding was unsuccessful is that when you connect to the "phantom####" wifi signal, the Camera page of the DJI Vision app shows the message "Phantom Connection Broken."
If you're not seeing the "Phantom Connection Broken" message, but have no streaming video FPV on the Camera screen, then please check out my "Module Repair" listings here.
Note: this listing is a service
I pride myself in my quick service turn-around: I send your range extender back to you 1 business day after receiving it!
1. You send me your range extender
2. And the current mac address associated with your video transmission module (if you have the original module, this is the code on the QR code on the underside of the drone, or if replaced, you need the code off the replacement module itself)
Alternatively, you can send me you range extender and the video transmission module (extracted from inside your drone) so I can test them together after I do the binding. This would require you to extract the module from the inside of the drone.
The repair fee covers the binding service and domestic return shipping to USA customers.
Any questions please message me.
