Mercruiser Seawater Raw Water Pump Stainless Steel Wear Plate (2 FULL KITs)
Please note: NO
PUMP, IMPELLER OR HOUSING INCLUDED (pictures are for
reference/identification purposes only, to make sure it looks like your
pump before ordering the kit)
Don't spend up to $600 on a new pump because your cover plate housing
has been grooved. For a fraction of the price you buy our STAINLESS
STEEL wear plate kit! It will solve your cavitation and overheat issues
due to a worn cover plate housing on the Mercruiser bronze pumps.
Does
your boat overheat and set off the alarm due to low water pressure? Even
after replacing your impeller? Then it's probably due to the seawater
pump cover having been scored by the impeller thus causing "pump cavitation".
Tested
and proven to stop low water pressure alarms on the 496
mags, 8.1, and 350 mag pumps # 46-862914T10 or 46-862914T12. This kit
will work on any of the 2009 and prior pumps. Use
this wearplate kit with stock OEM impeller (inner wearplate is 0.015"
therefor no need for shorter impeller). The larger (outer) wearplate is
16 guage.
We have sold thousands of these kits & have been making these for decades with
customers in UK, Ireland, Holland, Australia, Hungary, Czech Republic,
South Africa, Qatar just to mention a few.
This "dual" kit comes with:
SHIPS FOR FREE TO LOWER 48 STATES! (Express Mail available at checkout for additional cost)
Note! The new 2010 pumps have wear plates but cannot be backfitted.
Manufacturer's suggested retail price USD $139.99 (each kit)

Here is an email I received from a satisfied customer a few years ago:
Dennis,
Thank you so much! It did arrive and we installed it just last night. The boat runs like new! You're a genius. Did you invent this due to your own bad experience with that type of waterpump or did someone come to you with a problem?
My friends were amazed and all had that same question. I wish you luck and great fortune with your invention!
A very grateful customer.
