The classic vintage cardigan sweater never goes out of style!

This soft 1950's cashmere (and wool blend?) sweater comes in a lightweight knit in black. It features 3/4 length sleeves, round or scoop neckline and ends at the waistline. A large and scrolling floral pattern is created with white seed beads and micro pearls along front, back neckline and cuffs. this beading definitely adds a bit of weight to the piece! The original lining is no more, and the buttons have been replaced with an array of carved shell buttons (original buttons were faux pearl, but had lost most of their pearl 'skin'). No labels or makers marks present. Overall condition is very good, with a few darned/repaired spots, as well as some missing and/or loose beading (please note: I have painstakingly gone through the sweater and applied special fabric glue to the bead threading, on the inside, to prevent further bead loss. Washing is not recommended at this point, please professionally clean via Dry or Wet Cleaners). Please see photographs for full details.
