This is a rare and beautiful paperweight. It’s surface is decorated design with pulled feather dark blue, purple, auburn, and green iridescence. This piece was done by the artist in 1982.

About the artist:

Richard Satava is a famous California born Handblown Glass Artist. He was introduced to glassblowing in 1969. His handblown glassworks are highly collective and some of them are sold for as high as $3,000 each. Please see the past picture for reference.

Makers Mark: Hand inscribed to the concave semi polished base, “satava Studio, 1982".
