ITEM CONDITION:
• Please look at my description and photos. I describe any flaws or damage I have noticed to the best of my ability, although it is always possible I may miss something small.
• Most of my items are used and have signs of use. Some items are unused but have been stored away for a really long time, so I often list them as used as packaging may no longer be perfect, etc. Some items which are technically new (if I haven’t used or opened them) may also have flaws. I try to describe everything.
POSTAGE:
• eBay has introduced Simple Delivery as the only postage option for private sellers, with the only exception being letter size items priced under £10, for which I will continue to charge only what the post office charges me.
• You will have options at the point of checkout, including collection point, which are more economical than standard Royal Mail services and they will be tracked.
• I am not completely familiar with Simple Delivery yet, and although eBay seemed to imply that my listings would automatically be updated, this does not appear to have happened, so I will revise everything as quickly as I can.
• Please note that whenever possible I re-use packaging or use envelopes that I’ve had stored away for a very long time, so they might not look pristine!
COMBINED POSTAGE:
• I have always been happy to combine postage costs whenever possible. I expect that Simple Delivery will allow for this, but until I have occasion to send more than one item via Simple Delivery, I’m not sure how it will work, but hopefully it’ll be the same.
• Combined postage discounts only apply where there is a postage cost. For example, if one item costs £3.38 to post and the other item is free post, the combined cost is £3.38, not £0!
DELIVERY TIMES:
• Please note: there could be delays to postal services beyond my control. However, with Simple Delivery you will be able to track your item.
• I aim to post the next working day following payment. However, I am a private seller, so my eBay dispatch terms are within 3 working days, just in case I have unforeseen circumstances. I will always keep you informed as to when your item was posted.
• Please be aware that once a package is handed to the post office it is no longer under my control but I always obtain proof of postage, so if your item does not arrive within a few days of me informing you that I have posted it, please contact me so that we can try to resolve the situation.
NON-UK BUYERS:
• Items are dispatched using eBay’s Global Shipping Programme. I do not post overseas other than by this method.
• Additional postage/customs fees will be charged to you direct by eBay. I am not made aware of these extra costs and have no control over them.
• Once I have posted your item and it reaches the Global Shipping Programme dispatch centre in the UK, the rest of the dispatch process is out of my control.
• Please note that certain items carry postal restrictions depending on the destination, and cannot be sent via the Global Shipping Programme.
