Japanese Kutani Bowl, 19th Century, Signed inside bowl.

height: 2 5/8” / 6.7 cm.; base diameter: 5 7/8” / 14.9 cm. 

maximum diameter: 9 1/2” / 24.1 cm.

Richly decorated with painted scenes of scholars, landscape, flora

and fauna. A signature is to be found at the center of the base.

Some abrasions to the decorations inside the bowl, but largely in 

good form.
