This is a 1:48 scale Messerschmitt Me262 from Monogram, dated 1988. This is a model of what I think is the world's first fighter jet, which actually saw action at the end of World War II. As shown, it is still new and sealed in its box. The box has what looks like crushing damage from the shrink wrap doing what it was made to do over the years, shrinking. The wrap has since torn notably, but the kit is still sealed. See pictures for details.
