UNFINISHED = Straight off the CNC machine.

FINISHED = Sanded and brushed to have a shiny surface.

• !!! We only have a few 38T chainrings left and they have oxidation stains on them. Aluminum oxidation occurs when the metal reacts and combines with oxygen present in moisture or in the air. It's a natural process that results when exposed to the environment. Oxidation can be removed using rubbing alcohol or WD-40.

All our 5 Bolt 110mm BCD Chainrings where once CNC Machined in the USA by us, an OEM Manufacturer of BMX components in the mid 80's to early 2000's. We ceased manufacturing chainrings more then 20yrs ago when the large mail-order companies, BMX companies and popup fly by night cycling companies demanded us to produce a quality product at China prices. Since we had more profitable ventures we put 1000's and 1000's of Chainrings into storage and have just recently dusted off this BMX time capsule full of Chainrings.
