Golden brown and light olive with dark grainy crud in some protected areas. RF Counterstamp on the reverse, full legends except those opposite the counterstamp. Minted for the French Caribbean colonies but not circulated until counter stamped in 1793. Some circulated in Louisiana after counter stamping, and later in east coast states likely due to large cent shortages.
