Installation instructions
1. Installation requirements: The bottom plane of the turbine and the foundation plane are in close contact without gaps, and the contact surface will neither splash the tail water nor leak water outward.
2. Installation procedure: After the foundation of the unit poured with concrete is cured, install the unit in place, and then pour it in sequence. When installing the unit, measure the levelness with a spirit level to ensure that the unit is fixed in a horizontal position. The gap between the unit and the ground level is sealed with cement, and no water seepage is allowed. After the unit is installed, perform another inspection and turn the runner shaft of the turbine by hand. If the unit is flexible, the unit is installed.
3. Basic requirements for installing pipelines: purchase pipelines according to the diameter of the pipeline required by the unit, and the diameter of the pipeline cannot be reduced. The pipeline should be straight, and the bend should be minimized. The angle between the pipeline and the horizontal should not be less than 25 degrees. Otherwise, the pipeline will grow and the water head loss will be large, resulting in insufficient power generation and other consequences. The bottom edge of the horn tube is not less than 0.2 meters away from the bottom plane of the pool, and the inner diameter of the joint should be equal. In order to reduce the head loss, the joint should be minimized.
4. Installation of steel pipes: Micro-hydropower mostly adopts welded steel pipes with flanges. During installation, the flange rubber pads must be placed in the correct position to avoid reducing the cross-section of the water. The nuts of the pipe joints should be gradually tightened in diagonal order.
5. Pillar: At the water diversion pipe joint and the nozzle of the turbine, the pipe bears the greatest pressure, so it is necessary to build a pier with stone or concrete to fix the metal pipe.
6. Buttress: Due to its own weight and the weight of water, the metal pipeline is easy to bend and deform due to its own weight, so a buttress must be added in the middle. The location of the branch pipe is preferably set at the joint of the pipeline.
Post-installation checks
1. Check the pipes and joints for leaks. If leakage is found, the cause should be analyzed and dealt with in time.
2. Clean up the dirt that blocks the pipeline left during installation to ensure smooth water flow.
3. Check whether the pipeline is bent or deformed after being subjected to the pressure of water, and whether the support is firm. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, it should be dealt with in time.
Valve installation
The valve is installed on the lead pipe, near the end of the unit, about 1 meter away from the nozzle or directly on the nozzle, as the case may be. The valve diameter of the micro-hydropower should be consistent with the diameter of the water pipe. Gate valve or ball valve can be used, and stop valve must not be used, because the selection of stop valve will reduce the water passing section and affect the output of the turbine.
Valve installation must pay attention to two points:
1. The center line of the turbine runner shaft and the draft water channel must be kept on the same vertical line.
2. The flange gaskets should be upright, and the bolts should be connected tightly, so as to reduce the loss of water head and prevent leakage.
Engine room
The machine room of the micro-turbine unit can be built as a civil house, and the room should be ventilated and leak-proof. Its area depends on the size of the unit, and the distance between the unit and the wall should not be less than 0.8 meters, so as to facilitate installation, maintenance and operation.
Debugging
Inspection before test machine. After the installation of micro-hydropower, it must be checked before trial operation. The inspection contents include inspection of installation quality, inspection of micro-hydropower unit and electrical system, etc.
Inspection of installation quality
1. There should be no water leakage in the canals and water diversion pipes, the fence at the water inlet should not be blocked by debris, and the valves should be flexibly opened and closed;
2. The water level of the stagnant pool is kept to the design level;
3. The drainage ditch should be covered tightly;
Inspection of Micro-Hydrogen Units and Electrical Systems
1. Open the control box cover of the generator item and check whether the contact between the brush and the slip ring is good;
2. There should be no loosening of the mechanical connection fasteners;
3. The rotation of the runner should be flexible, without shaking or abnormal noise, and sufficient lubricating oil should be added to each rotating part.
4. The electrical wiring is reliable, and the total electrical load does not exceed the rated generating power of the generator set. For units connected with an ESC or equipped with a mechanical voltage regulator, the load may not be connected temporarily, but the wiring of the ESC must be firm or the mechanical voltage regulator device must be sensitive.
Test drive
Slowly open the gate to release water, the water flow pushes the runner to rotate, and the generator voltage will gradually increase to the rated voltage. Note: (Users who install the valve must open the valve to the maximum position) If the maximum power generation exceeds 20% of the rated power generation of the unit, turn off a small amount of water and adjust the maximum power generation to 105% of the rated power generation. To prevent the unit from working under overload for a long time. If the power generation is less than the design capacity, check whether the submerged depth of the water diversion port of the front pool is sufficient, whether there is air swirl, whether the diversion channel is blocked, whether there is jamming and friction in the operation of the unit, and try again after eliminating the problem.
Parking
First unload the load of each electrical end, open the gate, and then close the gate. The permanent magnet motor should first close the turbine water gate, and then open the electric gate.
