This is a vintage factory made Green-Winged Teal Decoy constructed from foam covered with paper mâché then pained. Our guess is that it was made by the Victor 'Carry-lite' Company but we have not been able to find another to compare it so we may be wrong on that. There are no markings of a maker but Victor often used paper labels which did not last long when used in water. The photos are good description. You will note a couple places where the outside paper covering has chipped off to reveal white foam underneath. The head is not loose but will turn slightly. It has glass eyes and no sign of a way to attach an anchor cord. It is life size measuring 11.5 inches from beak to tail. It weighs 3 ounces.
We found it in an antique store and thought it interesting for how fragile the outside covering is but mostly still intact. We thought we would list it on eBay and see what happens. Possibly someone will know about it and share some information. Our pricing is a guess so we invite your inspection and offer. Shipping will be under $12.00 within the U.S.and we accept returns for any reason within 30 days.
