I find it best to slide the shrink tube over the wire and then solder the wire in the the cup just below the crimp area of the tube with as little solder as possible. Crimp the wire over the insulation on the wire and slide the shrink tube over the clip and heat shrink it onto the clip, as in gallery photo two. Caution: Using too much solder won't allow you to slide the tube over the clip. You can also shorten the clip if desired by breaking off the crimp portion leaving the cup and repeating the above.
