A history of Big Flats, a town in Chemung County, New York, on the west border of the county, west of Elmira. The town contains a hamlet also named Big Flats. Filled with period photographs, the book includes approximately 50 accounts by a variety of local residents of the early history of Big Flats, especially focused on the early twentieth century.
