These honeycomb earrings date from the mid 1900s. They look to be middle eastern in origin to me. However there are no hallmarks to indicate. These earrings are crafted from solid 14K Yellow gold (tested and conformed). They are day and night earrings, meaning the tops can be worn with or without the bodies. The tops feature a simple hook with a three dimensional flower a top. The bodies can simply slide off the tops to be worn separately if desired. The bodies feature a long sold rod that suspends the honeycomb like dangle. The honeycomb is crafted by soldiered rings layered on top of one another with a gold ball at the middle. They are finished off with a hammered flat disc at the bottom. These earrings are in good condition with normal wear. There are a couple of circles that are not perfectly round at the edges as photographed.
