• RIDGID always recommends the use of a cartridge filter for dry pick-up; for this RIDGID vacuum, there are three types of replacement vacuum filters available; standard (VF3400), fine dust (VF3500) and for wet debris pick-up, RIDGID recommends the use of the wet filter (VF3700), you should always remove the pleated paper filter when picking up wet debris; pleated paper filters can be washed and re-used several times if dried properly
