Dick has been involved in photography his whole life. He grew up in Danville, Ill where his Dad had a photography studioand lab.  This is where he worked while in high school.  In 1971 hereceived a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Photography fromRochester Institute of Technology.  After college he returned to Danville and didcommercial, portrait, and wedding photography for the family business. Duringthis time Dick started selling his nature photographs at art shows and traveledfull time exhibiting and selling his work at art shows all over the country.  

In 1978 he moved to Breckenridge, Colorado and opened his owngallery selling his nature photographs, sold his own postcard line and startedand promoted three art shows in Breckenridge.

After moving to Florida Dick started and ran Naples CustomPhoto in Naples, FLwith his brother and had a gallery of his work in Bonita Springs.

He now continues to travel extensively attending art showsand photographing some of the most beautiful places in this country.  

His work continues to showcase the incredible beauty anddiversity of this great nation using very high end digital capture foroutstanding quality and detail.
