This is an Estate Fresh old Donkey from a long time collector of Steiff Animals which I was lucky enough to get a few of.  This is the SWEET VINTAGE STEIFF GRISSY DONKEY MULE with PLUSH MOHAIR and BRIGHT COLORS , CLEAN NO FADING,  11” and no smells. This mohair wool beauty has the most beautiful fur with minimal hair loss if any, no odors or other damage.  The airbrushing detail is exquisite. There is no longer an ear button or a Steiff tag but you can see the hole they used to be in.  He is identical to all the other Steiff Grissy pieces I have seen.   He measures approximately 11" tall counting his ears up, 9" to top of head.  He is 9" long not including the tail.
