DESCRIPTION: Here is a mid 19th century Wedgwood pearl ware dessert plate. Hand painted to the center in red, yellow and blue with red  blue and gilt flowers and red and blue flowers with the mid blue flowers being enamelled. There are also has cobalt blue and gilt leaves and yellow leaves.The border of the plate has a similar imari decoration. The outer border is transfer printed with yellow triangular pattern with alternating painted red and blue and blue flowers. Marked to the base with a small impressed upper case Wedgwood that is pooled with a blue glaze and also two V's or triangles. Dates to mid 19th century or slightly earlier. 

SIZE: The dessert plate measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter. Weighs 250 g before packing.

CONDITION: Apart from a minor chip to the rim the dessert plate is in very good condition.
