Description
High quality brake adapters to allow fitment of rear Porsche 996 / Porsche Boxter S / Brembo brake calipers utilising the standard VW Golf MK4 280mm x 22mm 5 x 100 PCD vented front brake discs with part numbers 1J0 615 301P.
The part numbers for the calipers are 996.352.421 and 996.352.422 and will allow for 280mm x 22mm discs.
The Porsche calipers are connected to the hydraulic system of the vehicle for increased braking force. But since they have no hand brake function therefore the rear Audi S3 or Golf 4 R32 original caliper is used for the handbrake function only. The hydraulic connection on the original original S3 and R32 caliper is therefore closed, so requires a blanking plug, as it serves only as a handbrake caliper.
These are finished with the highest quality and are made out of high tensile SG strength Steel not cheap aluminium standard that will crack under braking force. The adapters are made out of a single piece of steel and are not welded but machined out a single block of steel. We supply High strength 12.9 rated strength bolts with these brackets.
