Sort out excessive clutch pedal wobble once and for all (a certain amount of sideward movement is normal)

Excessive clutch pedal wobble is usually caused by a failed plastic pedal pivot pin. A new pedal assembly can be purchased from Vauxhall for over £300 not including fitting but this still comes with a plastic pin.

This stainless steel pin, steel washer and R clip will replace the pin and likely outlast the car it is installed in.

Being stainless steel, it will never rust or corrode and will always remain strong.

Your peddle wobble will reduce in the case of a broken pivot pin. If the bushes on the pedal are also worn then there will still be movement but the new pin will never break

Swapping it is best left to a mechanic if you are unsure but can be done yourself by partially removing the pedal assembly from the car.
