This variant of the Elara 60 Series is designed to be used with your existing Focus UC headset. It can wirelessly charge your mobile* and includes a cradle to charge a Plantronics/Poly Focus headset. You can use the keypad and the speaker. It is optimised for use with MS Teams. Its a convenient station from which to use your mobile when in the office.
There are several variants in the Elara 60 series. The model names are very similar so look at the letters after the 60 for more info...
What is Poly? Poly is the new name for Plantronics.
Charging - This WS variant will charge your mobile wirelessly (assuming your mobile has that functionality of course*). Or you can plug your charging cable into the back of the unit. Designed for use with the Focus UC it also has a cradle to charge this headset. Whilst you can pair other headsets to it, the Elara won't charge them.
Speakerphone - Don't fancy using your headset? No worries! The speaker phone can be used for calls and for music.
No Provisioning - As the Elara series all use your mobile phone to connect to calls, they don't need to be connected to a phone system. Just plug therm into the power, pair your mobile and you're good to go (or, more accurately, good to stay).
Microsoft Teams Optimised - The dedicated Microsoft Teams voice assistant button allows you to manage video, audio, chat and web conferences. Just speak the command to the Elara to call anyone in your MS Teams directory.
Hot Desking - Anyone can jump onto the Elara 60 and use it with their mobile. Its easy to pair a new Bluetooth headset to the base. No BT? No problem just connect a USB corded headset to the back of the unit.
Elara 60 App - Get the Elara 60 app to assist with set up (not that it could be much easier!) and customise your Focus to match your work style with configurable languages, tones and alerts. Get alerts on firmware releases to get the latest features.
* Your mobile must have wireless charging capabilities. If you're not sure if your mobile has this functionality it probably doesn't so please check this before purchasing the Elara 60 WS!
