This is a dedicated HIFI Digi+ expansion board designed for the Raspberry Pi 3B/2B, B+/A+, using Wolfson's digital chip (WM8804G), using an I2S interface; users can use this expansion board to work with an audio playback system (such as: volumio, xbmc system, etc.) to build their own network HIFI player; expansion board provides optical fiber (S / PDIF) and coaxial (RCA) output interface to facilitate external power amplifier and other equipment.

Function introduction:

1. The digital chip adopts Wolfson's WM8804G chip and adopts I2S interface; it supports 16- to 24-bit audio data format; distortion and dynamics are very good; it supports a high sampling rate of 192kHz, and advanced anti-shake technology can intrinsic jitter. The jitter control is within 50ps RMS and the reduction is very high.
