Trev's Vintage Machine Shop

This is a set of 7/16 BSW (British Standard Whitworth) Aerotight locking nuts, made from plated steel. These nuts have a 7/16 BSW thread (14 TPI), they measure 0.710 inches across the flats, and they fit a 3/8 Whitworth spanner.

Each nut is an all-metal locking nut that grips the male thread, holding the nut safely and securely in position. They resist coming loose under vibration or torque. These split beam locking nuts are superior to Nyloc nuts because they retain their locking ability at high temperatures, and they can be safely reused.

They are sold in packs of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 nuts. These are new old stock, some of them look scruffy with varying marks, scuffs, tarnishing and/or minor surface rust from storage. All items are dispatched quickly via Royal Mail 2nd Class, with tracked postage available at extra cost.
