Trev's Vintage Machine Shop

This is a set of 1/4 BSW (British Standard Whitworth) wing nuts. They appear to be made from some kind of zinc alloy. Each nut has a 1/4 in diameter thread (20 TPI), the wings measure 27 mm (approx 1 1/16 in) across, and they have a 1/2 in long shaft that looks like it was originally designed to screw into something. Buyers ideally need to run a machine tap through them to clear the threads.

They are sold in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 nuts. These are new old stock, with marks and surface rust from storage. All items are dispatched quickly via Royal Mail 2nd Class, with 1st Class available at extra cost.
