Imperial Russian silver communion spoon. Assayer's mark on the bottom of the spoon handle is in the dvoinik style, with the combined standard number of "84" and city mark for Moscow. This style of assayer's mark was used between 1882 and 1899. Unknown silversmith's mark "BC." Top of spoon handle is finely engraved, including an "Old Believers" cross. Finial is formed in the shape of a cross.

Spoon measures 7 3/4” long x 1 3/16” wide (19.6 cm x 3 cm). Weight is approximately 62 grams.
